WASINI ISLAND

This excursion dedicated to the discovery of the islands of the South Coast Kenya.

Pick up from your residence for an early morning departure for Shimoni, a small fishing village near the Tanzanian border.On arrival at Shimoni, you will board a dhow sailing you in the turquoise waters of the kisite marine park. It will also allow you to discover the wonders of the underwater world, by embarking aboard a small boat.

A delicious lunch will be served in the typical Swahili restaurant on the island, consisting of crabs, fish with coconut rice and chapattis, sea weed and sometimes cassava, yams and fruits. Incase you opt for an additional sea cuisine (payable directly at an extra cost of 1000 kshs) which consists of octopus, squids and lobsters ontop. Drinks is at your own expense. In the afternoon, either: relaxation along the beautiful dominant mangrove. Later drop off at your residence.
