7 Days Gorilla Safaris & White water rafting

Are you adventurous, want to do something unique and different, let’s try out a combination of Gorilla tracking and white water rafting on the Nile which can only be done in Uganda.

Just imagine rafting on River Nile the longest River in the world through the warm green pools (27°C) in the equatorial sunshine. Then tracking the Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park the unforgettable experience….

Day 1: Arrival – Kampala.
You will warmly be welcomed by our professional guide at Entebbe airport. After a short transfer to your hotel the guide will be brief about you safari. Depending on the time of arrival e.g if your flight arrives in the morning, you will go for a city tour. You can visit some of the landmarks in town with the help of our driver/guide.
Overnight at Protea Hotel/Le Petit Hotel/Cassia Lodge/Namirembe Guest House. BB

Day 2: Kampala – Lake Mburo National Park.
You will drive to Lake Mburo National park for an evening game drive.
Dinner and Overnight at Mihingo Lodge/Mantana Tented Camp/Rwoboko Tented Camp

Day 3: Lake Mburo National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Early morning proceed south-west. You will have a stop over at the Equator for photos. Proceed to Mbarara with a stop over for lunch. Driving will take you through savannah grasslands seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their incredible long curving horns. Then you ascend into the Kigezi highlands, known as the “Switzerland of Africa”, with terraced farming and mountain scenery to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Dinner and Overnight at Buhoma Lodge/Nkuringo Gorilla Camp/Engagi Lodge/Ruhija Gorilla Lodge/Buhoma Community Bandas.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking and Village walk
Go for gorilla tracking walking up steeply in the dense rain forest through different animals’ trails allowing access to tourists. Gorilla tracking is an inspiring and wonderful adventure which one can’t miss. The Gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact. Enjoy the Buhoma Village Walk organized by the local community.
Dinner and Overnight at Buhoma Lodge/Nkuringo Gorilla Camp/Engagi Lodge/Ruhija Gorilla Lodge/Buhoma Community Bandas.

Day 5: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Kampala.
You will leisurely drive Kampala with a stopover for Lunch. Overnight at Protea Hotel/Le Petit Hotel/Cassia Lodge/Namirembe Guest House.BB

Day 6: White Water Rafting
You will have a Full day white water rafting then Bujagali falls. Overnight at Wildwater Lodge/Jinja Nile Resort/Gately on the Nile/Sunset Hotel. BB

Day 7: Jinja – Entebbe.
You will drive back to catch your flight back home. END OF OUR SERVICES
