7 Days Gorilla & Wildlife Tour to Uganda

Looking in the eye of the gorilla will be the highlight of the whole safari! Especially hikers will love the tracking in the beautiful ecosystem of the park.

Day 1: Arrival – Kampala.

After a warm welcome by our experienced guide at Entebbe airport, you will be transfered to your hotel and our guide will brief you about your safari. Incase you arrive in the morning; you will go for a city tour.
Overnight at Protea Hotel/Le Petit Hotel/ Cassia Lodge/Namirembe Guest House.

Day 2: Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range. You will have an enroute game drive giving you an opportunity to view lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, hyena and a variety of antelope species.
Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Katala Lodge/Kyambura Lodge/Simba Lodge.

Day 3: Game drive – Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
This morning with the help of our guide, you will go for game drive giving you an opportunity to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, cape buffalo, elephant, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, topi and bushbuck. After lunch, you will enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward. This boat cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing.
Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Katala Lodge/Kyambura Lodge/Simba Lodge.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After breakfast, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Park through the Kigezi highlands, known as the “Switzerland of Africa”, with terraced farming and mountain scenery then you will get to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Dinner and Overnight at Buhoma Lodge/Nkuringo Gorilla Camp/Engagi Lodge/Ruhija Gorilla Lodge/Buhoma Community Bandas.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking and go for Buhoma Village Walk
Looking in the eye of the gorilla will be the highlight of the whole safari! Especially hikers will love the tracking in the beautiful ecosystem of the park. Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. But it will definitely be worthwhile as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience! Those who prefer not to participate in the gorilla tracking can go for a guided forest walk or explore the surroundings with the Buhoma Village Walk.
Dinner and Overnight at Buhoma Lodge/Nkuringo Gorilla Camp/Engagi Lodge/Ruhija Gorilla Lodge/Buhoma Community Bandas.

Day 6: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Kampala.
After breakfast, transfer to Kampala. Overnight at Protea Hotel/Le Petit Hotel/ Cassia Lodge/Namirembe Guest House.

Day 7: Kampala – Entebbe.
Transfer to the airport .
